Today, students in kindergarten, third grade, and part of first received free vision screening (the rest of the first graders, along with fifth grade, will go tomorrow). Through the screening, ophthalmologists can make recommendations based on the health of the retina. They will be able to work with families to make sure students get the eye care they need.
