This Week's FFV

This week, our FFV snacks are cherries! There are two types of cherries that are cultivated, the sweet cherries and the sour cherries (used in cooking). Cherry trees originated in both Western Asia and Europe, but can be cultivated in most temperate climates. They are difficult to grow and keep alive, and have a short fruiting time.
