Today, grade 6 went on a field trip to Heʻeia to participate in Papahana Kuaola's educational program, which focuses on environmental restoration and economic sustainability. Papahana Kuaola strives to make that meaningful by integrating Hawaiian knowledge into its programs, especially that of being respectful to kānaka, ʻāina, and akua.
