AVID Parent Night!

We ALL learned and had fun last night at our AVID Parent Night! We had a whole group session in the cafeteria, where we learned about inquiry. Then everyone split up by grade level and completed the following activities:

• Kindergarten built structures to hold stuffed animals

• Grade 1 made animal "candy" snatchers

• Grade 2 had to build a shelter for all their family members out of newspaper

• Grade 3's activity was "What's in the Bag?"

• Grade 4 did "Heads Up - Guess Who"

• Grade 5 built spaghetti towers

• Grade 6's activity was "Roll a Can and Exploding Lunch Bag"
