Grade 4 went on a field trip to Kualoa Ranch. They visited Moli'i fishpond and gardens in the Hakipu'u ahupua'a. The 153-acre fishpond is between 800 and 1,000 years old and is considered by Historic Place by the US Department of the Interior. The students got to travel by boat to see the remains of the fishpond and learn about how fish were farmed in it.
