2nd Quarter Recognition Assembly

Today was our 2nd quarter recognition assembly, where we celebrate those students who received academic or GLO awards, as well as students who had perfect attendance for 2nd quarter. We were also treated with performances by the Student Council, cheerleaders, cultural hui, dance team, and 'ukulele club.

We also did a check on our reading campaign so far--how did each grade level do? Who had the highest percentage of students who met the reading campaign in their grade level? That class got to hold the coveted reading campaign trophy for the quarter. Then we saw how the students' progress compared to the teachers'. Congratulations, students--not only did you beat the teachers this quarter, but you also improved a little since first quarter. Keep on reading and logging so we can reach our goal of 70%!

Also, congratulations to grades K and 1 for ALL having their lunch tags when we did a surprise check. They all earned a Pueo Ticket and an ice pop after the assembly. Keep up the good work!
