Our FFV snack this week is the honey tangerine!

Also known as Murcott oranges, honey tangerines are mostly grown in the state of Florida. They are a hybrid between the tangerine and a sweet orange, making them the sweetest tangerines out there. They only grow between January and April, and the heavier fruits are the more juicy ones. They unfortunately spoil quickly, so must be consumed fairly quickly after being picked.
