Today was our flu clinic. The "Stop Flu at School" program offers free flu shots to students in grades Kindergarten to 8th. They aim to "improve the health of Hawaiʻi's keiki, families, and kupuna by preventing the spread of influenza through vaccination." This year, only the shot was given, as the nasal spray was shown to not be as effective. The program has vaccinated over 50,000 students since 2007.
