This week we have strawberries as our snack!


Strawberries are cultivated worldwide for their fruit. The fruit (which is actually not considered a berry!) is widely appreciated for its yummy aroma, its bright red color, its juicy texture, and its sweetness. Strawberries are consumed fresh or are prepared in foods such as preserves, pies, ice creams, milkshakes, and chocolates. Its aroma and flavor have inspired many products like lip gloss, candy, hand sanitizers, and perfume, to name a few. But besides that, strawberries are rich in vitamin C and contain strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
