Grade 3 Family Night

Our third graders have been learning about Westward Expansion and Immigration in the 1800s. They are studying different immigration groups that traveled to the US during that time. As a culminating activity, we had a "Rice Around the World" celebration. Students shared information they learned about the culture as well as a rice dish. They also wrote a procedural report on that culture.
