Many of you have noticed the colorful mural that greets you as you drive by the office. The beautiful painting is by artist Kamele Eskaran, who designs layouts for Midweek and Star Advertiser. The inspiration for the mural came from her love of owls, our school mascot. The mural shows students are the owl, soaring over Leihōkū and succeeding. Her message to students is, "Reach for the sky and never give up!"
Thank you, Ms. Kamele, for your beautiful artwork and message to our students, and also to Mr. Miura, Ms. Shimose, and Ms. Kiyan for coming in on the weekends to help with the mural. This mural is just another sign of the love we have for our school! Leihōkū Pride!
