Our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable snack this week is one of our favorites: apple fries!
Apples are free of fat, sodium, and cholesterol, and are less than 100 calories for a medium-sized apple. Apples also provide you with fiber, vitamins B and C, and antioxidants to help prevent chronic diseases such as Alzheimer's, lung cancer, heart disease, breast cancer, and diabetes. Apples even help your bones and skin! What a superfruit!
