Today and tomorrow, the second graders have a field trip to Hawaii Plantation Village. They learn about the different cultures of the plantation era by seeing the homes each culture lived in, learning a song in different languages, as well as playing the different musical instruments they used, dressing up in the clothes they used to wear, and even playing games that they used to play back on the plantation.
