If you are interested in seeing the Hōkūleʻa yourself, there are tours for the community on December 11-15 and December 18-21, from 3pm-6pm, or on the weekends (December 10 and December 16-17) from 10am-4pm.
The fourth graders went on a field trip today to see the Hōkūleʻa, which arrived in Wai'anae over the weekend. The canoe will be in Wai'anae for the next two weeks, offering tours and activities to the public, as a way to mahalo the work of the Leeward Coast community.
