The fourth graders went on a field trip to Waimea Valley. They engaged in hands-on activities to learn about the ʻāina and moʻolelo of Hawaiʻi, specifically about Waimea Valley. This will help students strengthen their ancestral ties and hopefully perpetuate the knowledge and care of the land that the Hawaiian people had in the past.
