Third graders celebrated the 100th day of school by taking 100 steps for a better future. They talked about marches and walks, and how people walk to raise awareness of important issues. As a class they brainstormed things that they wish would change to make the world or the future better for themselves and the people around them. They took 100 steps and then added their name and something they felt was important so that it said "100 steps for..." on the tape. They stuck their tape on the ground so others would see and think about that issue. The third graders will be removing them at the end of the week because one of the things they want is to keep our community clean.
