Please Kōkua

For the past several years, our students have been afforded a free breakfast and lunch through a federally-funded program from School Food Services. Since it is a federally-funded program, there are strict guidelines that we need to follow and are audited on throughout the school year.

Some concerns are:

•All food must be consumed in the cafeteria and cannot be taken out of the cafeteria.

•Parents should not be eating off their child's plate.

Failure to comply with the rules can jeopardize Leihōkū’s status in the program and lose the funding for free meals. Please help us to comply with these guidelines and ensure that all of our students continue to receive the benefits of the program. Thank you in advance for your continued support and consideration.
