Aloha Leihoku 'Ohana,
Mahalo to all families who have reached out to us today to check on the safety of the Leihoku students and staff. We are aware of concerns in our community that were re-posted to social media today, and I want to reassure you that all schools on the coast are responding appropriately. I am happy to say that our Leihoku Na Pueo are safe, in class, and learning today. I truly appreciate your vigilance and concern for the safety of our community.
Should any of our students feel troubled about the events in our community, please know that we are here to support them through counseling services if need be. Please reach out to us if you feel your child needs that support.
