We were made aware of a great opportunity for our families who may have lost food due to the extended power outages. It is primarily to support families who already receive SNAP benefits and families who qualify for MVA.
Please visit bit.ly/DHS_Food_Lala and fill out the application to request assistance for the loss of food due to no power or refrigeration. If you have pictures, that is helpful, but not required.
Turnaround time is tight: ALL FORMS need to be physically turned in to DHS by next Monday 8/24, so please return to our office by 12pm on Monday 8/24, and we will deliver to DHS. Mahalo!
