Conceptual Physics students from Conard High School in Connecticut made books about Newton's Laws for some lucky third graders at our school. The high school students researched our island to make their books about forces and motion relevant to our students' daily lives, and even made them the main characters in the books!

The high school students wrote the books in Google Slides, and then downloaded them as PowerPoint presentations, where they added illustrations and animations.  They also recorded their voices, reading their stories aloud for our students. The books were then exported into movie files and shared with our third graders.

The third graders loved their books and sent a video back to their high school buddies, thanking them for the books.  It was awesome to see the sharing that was going on between two schools that are many miles apart!
