We got a LED light upgrade! LED stands for light emitting diode, where a diode is an electrical component with two terminals which conduct the electricity only in one direction. With an electrical current, the diode emits a bright light around the small bulb.
This helps out by keeping classrooms 5-10 degree cooler. Plus, they are made out of plastic so they won’t break. This upgrade also saves us electricity, and although the bulbs are a bit more expensive ($30 a bulb), they last for 5-10 years.
