Our FFV snack this week is Tuscan Melon.
The Tuscan Melon is a variety of cantaloupe that originated in Italy. With a small seed cavity and thin rind, the Tuscan variety has more sweet orange flesh that can be eaten than other types of cantaloupe. They are high in vitamins A and C, have a high water content, and can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
