Monday was Read Across America Day, and some of our buddy classes participated in fun activities celebrating beloved author Dr. Seuss and the love of reading!

Fifth and first grade buddies made truffula trees together.

Second and sixth grade buddies read Dr. Seuss books to one another and enjoyed watching a movie.

Second and fifth graders want everyone to help the Lorax and Dr. Seuss make our planet healthier by planting!

Lastly, third graders did a book tasting! Students got a “taste” of books written by different authors and series. Growing a love of reading means reading a variety of genres and finding others that might interest you.
